The Vandelli-Arcoveggio swimming pool is a facility, equipped with indoor and outdoor pools for adults and children, and is part of the Piscine SO.GE.SE. Bologna.
LTT was entrusted with the Scan-to-BIM process, and more in detail to carry out the laser-scanner survey, to produce the point cloud and to realise the multidisciplinary BIM information model of the As-Is state of the building.
The Vandelli Swimming Pool, part of the larger Arcoveggio sports complex, is located on the northern outskirts of Bologna, close to the Tangenziale ring road and the Adriatica motorway.
It consists of three main parts: the indoor swimming pool area, characterised by a curved wooden roof; the changing rooms and plant area, immediately behind the indoor pool; an outdoor area characterised by the presence of an irregularly shaped outdoor pool for children.
