The monumental site

The Incurabili complex is a monumental site from the Renaissance period located in the historic centre of Naples.

LTT was commissioned to process the point cloud produced by the laser scanner survey and to create the Scan-to-BIM information model of the As-Is state of the buildings, on which the restoration project promoted by the Campania region will be based.

The origins

The Incurabili complex is one of the most important testimonies of the Neapolitan Renaissance.

It originally included the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, the oratory of the Compagnia dei Bianchi della Giustizia and the historic hospital of Santa Maria del Popolo degli Incurabili (1521).

The complex

It subsequently incorporated the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie Maggiore in Caponapoli and the cloister of the same name, the complex of Santa Maria della Consolazione, the church of Santa Maria di Gerusalemme and the cloister of the Trentatré.

Since 2010, part of the complex has been part of the MAS, the Museum of Sanitary Arts of Naples.

This site is registered on wpml.org as a development site.
