Exploring the new frontiers of the BIM industry

LTT was pleased to participate in the Dalux Summit 2023, a major event in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM) that took place from 6-8 November 2023 in Copenhagen. This summit was a special opportunity for LTT to explore the latest innovations and trends in the industry, together with more than 1,000 companies from all over the world.
During the summit, LTT enthusiastically presented its partnership with Dalux, a leading European company in the field of BIM development and management. This strategic partnership has enabled LTT to offer its customers advanced solutions for the complete management of design, construction and maintenance of projects in the construction industry.
A significant moment was the presentation conducted by LTT’s BIM Coordinator, Lavinia Grimaudo, who illustrated how Dalux solutions were used for the management of the historic Pisan Tower of the Norman Palace in Palermo. This practical example highlighted the effectiveness of modern technologies in preserving and managing historic buildings of cultural significance.
The presentation showed how, starting from an accurate Laser Scanner survey and its point cloud, it is possible to create a BIM model developed in such a way as to contain all the geometric and alphanumeric information necessary to interface with the Dalux software, exploiting its full potential for the management and Facility Management processes of the historic building.
The Summit was a constructive opportunity to compare notes with leading companies in the sector both nationally and internationally, creating synergies for an increasingly effective commitment to BIM development applied to the theme of the management of the historical built heritage.
